This is not abstract. You can feel it right now. Put your hand on your stomach, just below your ribs. Take a breath deep enough that your hand moves outward. Now say a single word — "Hey" — and feel your abdominal muscles engage to push the air through. That engagement is the foundation of projection.

Step Three: Move to Maximum Distance
Go to the far end of your space. Fifteen, twenty, thirty feet — as far as you can get. Big breath. Same sentence. This time you're projecting to the opposite wall with full commitment.
Your abdominal muscles should engage firmly to drive the sound. The vibration should feel like it's resonating in your chest, maybe even your upper back. The throat is still open. You're not yelling. You're filling the space with supported tone.
Step Four: Ladder Back Down
Now reverse it. Move to the middle distance. Then close. Each time, adjust your breath support to match the space. You're training the calibration reflex — your body learning to scale effort without conscious micromanagement.
Run this sequence five times. Close to far, far to close. By the end, the adjustment should start to feel automatic.
